Sony Unveils Limited Edition DualSense Controllers for Grand Theft Auto VI

Sony used today’s State of Play to show two limited-edition DualSense wireless controllers built around Grand Theft Auto VI. The DualSense Wireless Controller, Grand Theft Auto VI Black Limited Edition and DualSense Wireless Controller, Grand Theft Auto VI White Limited Edition are both inspired by Vice City, with one side designed for sunny seaside days and the other with neon nights. They arrive on the same day as the game, November 19.

Both variants feature a shimmering color-shifting finish that combines sunset hues with a neon glow. Palm tree details are molded right into the plastic, so you can feel them in the grips rather than simply seeing them. Official Grand Theft Auto VI branding appears on each pad, including huge VI numbers on the touchpad and the emblem carved on the rear. A purple iridescent part lies in the center, with bright purple trim running along the bottom half. Face buttons have the same purple tone.

White Limited Edition follows Vice City at daybreak, with white sands and pastel skies featured. Limited quantities of that version will be available worldwide through PlayStation Direct and participating stores. Instead, the Black Limited Edition focuses on the city’s nightlife scene. In the United States, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Spain, Italy, and Austria, that option remains exclusive.playstation.com. Other regions will only see it at select merchants.

Pricing is $84.99 in the United States, £74.99 in the United Kingdom, and €84.99 in much of Europe. Japan’s number is ¥12,480, including tax. Pre-orders begin September 10 @ 7:00 a.m. Pacific in the United States, and 10:00 a.m. local time in Europe’s listed markets. Eligible pre-orders placed through PlayStation Direct will receive free launch-day delivery. Exact on-sale times can still vary by country.

Grand Theft Auto VI will be released on November 19 for the PlayStation 5. Sony says the DualSense haptic motors and adaptive triggers will react to the action in Jason and Lucia’s story with additional resistance and feedback once you’re in the game. Both controllers remain limited-edition goods. Anyone who wants one of the duo will have to act swiftly when pre-orders begin next week.
